At Buckeston Academy High School, a wealthy and arrogant yet narcissist like student, named Kyle Kingson, “big headed” he is, his considered by many to be the “popular kid”. When Kyle is elected representative of his piers, he plays a prank with the “outcast” Kendra who was known to everyone as a “Witch”. He invites her to a party and humiliates her in front of everyone. However, Kendra curses him with a spell that makes Kyle look like his personality. She then quotes “that if he does not find anyone who loves him within a year, he will stay that way”. Kyle gets this attitude towards people, from his father. These sins kyle did upon his fellow school piers were horrible and very narcissistic like. The sins are as followed: Vain, Lust, Pride, Greed, Lying, Deception
He later moves from being a narcissist to a someone who actually cares. He begins to listen to others and help with everyday problems which slowly leds him towards the right path. Throughout the movie Kyle attempts to make Lindy, who was a girl he treated wrongly to make her love him. After various attempts he ends up with her and eventually losses the “Curse”.
Many Nazis said they were just following Hitler’s order for the sake of killing innocent people like Jews, Gypsies, Homosexuals and Mentally Impaired. This had blown my mind, that the Nazis had no control of their actions and responsibilities with demand that they would have to kill people otherwise there would be a certain punishment for themselves.
The last activity in the Sydney Jewish Museum, that had been introduced by Elie Wise, who was the survivor of the Holocaust and had been through so much to reach his freedom here in Australia. The first thing he said to us was that life is precious and that you only live once so make you’se of it and treasure such a previllege. He had showed us how he was identified as a human being not by his name but a number which had been tattooed to his arm. Elie Wiesel is 92 and a half years old and shared his stories of what he been through the Holocaust. Elie had been harassed, beaten, hit, treated unfairly and he had still survived. I believe that Eddie was a very strong hearted man where he stands. I had been very inspired of him.
As he was finishing up, he shared with us that his life is behind him and our future is in front of us and to change the world and bring peace to it.
Information about “The Planche” according to wikipedia: A Planche is a skill in gymnastics in which the body is held parallel to the ground, giving the illusion of floating. It is a move that requires a great deal of strength and balance.
According to the following website, these are the simple steps to master the planche: http://www.livestrong.com/article/30894-planche-pushups/
Assume a tuck planche position and begin to slowly extend your legs out behind you.
Start with 10 seconds intervals and work up to a full 60 seconds of holding yourself with your legs straight in the air at the same height as your hips and shoulders.
Bring your legs together until you can hold a full planche position for 60 seconds.
My first attempt took place at school with my fellow pier Emmett Richmond. I attempted first while he recorded. I attempted but failed as i held a planche position for only 1 second, which to me is pretty embarrassing ! The Video of this will be attached to this blog post as soon as possible and my later blogs will show my progress with this skill.
Hardship towards rights, living life and just everything being difficult, to me is the main experience that people come across during a revolution. This is where nothing really goes the person’s way and struggles to live life normally. There are many other reason but to me this is most important to become part of revolution.
Waking up in the morning planning the day ahead of you and realising your alarm is gone. Wandering around the house and seeing your appliances in an old tacky state. Looking at your calender and your in the heart of the 1950s.
Imagine this happending to you? What would be the first thing you would do? How would you live your life?
The 1950s was a time where technology had been recently brought upon by us humans where life was becoming easier. The way of life was different for various reasons. Adults, Children and Teenagers knew how to cook, clean and create items by hand. They took this in account and “created” themselves with responsibility, something teenagers in the 21st century lack. With reposonsibility comes different other aspects towards life and this is why life was peaceful and calm during the 1950’s and ‘why’ i would like to have lived in the 1950’s !
